Emily has composed music for ABCTV Sunday Arts program, Channel 31's Film Review show 'The Picture House', short films, short feature films and documentaries with screenings at ACMI Cinema, and National and International film festivals. Writting string arrangements for small orchestral ensembles and chamber groups, for rock, folk, experimental and jazz groups and currently working on her first recorded album, due in late 2008. 

 

Emily's currently performing her solo experimental side project 'Come on Frank’ which explores the synergy between sound design and technology while utilising the dynamics and timber of the Cello and its acoustic and electric capabilities, her new 5 string electric cello will be debuting new material in September 2008 with trio VELA.

'Come on Frank' has been performed through 'The Future of Classical Music'. Performing at some of the most intriguing of venues from Federation Square, BMW Edge, The Arts Centre, Carmen’s Tunnel Goldmine (a 19 Century Goldmine in Maldon), The Golden Key Society, Cockatoo Island in Sydney, 'Light Fantastic' Fashion event, Lithuanian Club with The Melbourne Fringe Festival with her own production of 'Light and Cello', various also with 'The future of classical music', Boite composers festival, Melbourne Composers Forum, Art exhibitions, The National Gallery of Victoria for the Art After Dark Series Guggenheim Exhibition, and other various gallery openings and live film music accompaniment to various silent and older films  creating scores sound design and effects for live Theatre productions 'Sage and Maximilion' for 'Short and Sweet' Melbourne Theatre Company.

Opening for acts such as 'FourPlay','Gauche', ComposersAnthony Lyons and Doug Gibson, Kaki King NY (USA) & 'Bucketrider', All India Radio, who have recently release their new Album featuring Cello and strings by Emily Williams, Fire in the Night Festival, Sustainable Living Festival, Musica at La Mamma and working as composer/performer for dance ensembles at Melbourne Town Hall, Collaborations include performances with multi-instrumentalist Adam Simmons and in the 18-piece part composed part improvised ensemble Rocketeer and new trio Vela
